Apollo Shark
The Apollo Shark has an elongated body, a forked caudal fin and a dorsal fin that is set far back on their body. They exhibit a distinct, dark, horizontal stripe that runs from their snout to their tail fin, with a green hue above the stripe and a silvery-white hue below it. To care for an Apollo shark, it's important to provide them with a suitable tank environment. They prefer a well-planted tank with plenty of hiding spots, rocks, and driftwood. Apollo sharks should be kept in a minimum tank size of 55 gallons.
Apollo sharks are generally peaceful but can become aggressive towards their own species or other fish that have a similar body shape. It's best to keep them in a small group of at least 3-4 individuals to minimize aggression. Regular water changes and maintenance of the aquarium are essential for keeping your Apollo shark healthy and happy. With proper care, these fish can live for up to 5-6 years in captivity.
