Black Neon Tetra
Black neon tetras are a popular species of freshwater fish that are closely related to neon tetras. They are small, peaceful and colorful, making them an excellent choice for community aquariums. Black neon tetras have a striking black and silver coloration, with a bright blue stripe that runs the length of their body. They are active and social fish that prefer to be kept in groups of at least six individuals. They are relatively easy to care for and can be a good choice for beginner aquarists. Black neon tetras prefer a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and a consistent water temperature. They typically grow to be around 1.5 inches in length and have a lifespan of up to 5 years in captivity.
