Bronze Cory

The Bronze Cory, also known as the Green Cory or Bronze Catfish, is a popular freshwater fish among aquarium enthusiasts. It is a peaceful and hardy species that can thrive in a variety of tank setups. Bronze Corys have a distinctive metallic bronze or green body with a white underbelly and black markings around their eyes. They grow to a maximum size of around 2.5 inches (6 cm) and prefer to live in groups of 5 or more. They appreciate a well-filtered tank with plenty of hiding spots, such as plants or caves, to retreat to. They are known to be active scavengers and will help keep the tank clean by eating leftover food and debris. Overall, the Bronze Cory is an excellent addition to a peaceful community aquarium and will thrive in a well-maintained tank with suitable tank mates.
