Bala Shark
The Bala shark, also known as the Silver shark or Tri-color shark, is a popular freshwater fish species that is native to Southeast Asia. It is a large and active fish with a streamlined body, silver scales, and black fins. To care for a Bala shark, it's important to provide them with a suitable tank environment. They prefer a well-planted tank with plenty of swimming space and hiding spots. The tank should be at least 125 gallons in size.
Bala sharks are generally peaceful but can become aggressive towards their own species or other fish that have a similar body shape. It's best to keep them in a small group of at least 3-4 individuals to minimize aggression. Regular water changes and maintenance of the aquarium are essential for keeping your Bala shark healthy and happy. With proper care, these fish can live for up to 10-12 years in captivity.
