Green Fire Tetra
Green fire tetras, are small freshwater fish that are native to the slow-moving rivers and streams of South America. They are named for their bright greenish-yellow coloration, which resembles the flickering flames of a fire. Green fire tetras are peaceful and social fish that are best kept in groups of at least six individuals. They are hardy and easy to care for, making them a good choice for beginner aquarists. Green fire tetras prefer a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and a consistent water temperature. They typically have a lifespan of up to five years.
