Moonlight Gourami

The Moonlight Gourami, also known as the Moonbeam Gourami or the Platinum Gourami, is a species of freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia. They are popular among aquarium enthusiasts due to their peaceful temperament and beautiful appearance. Moonlight Gouramis have a silver-white body with a subtle shimmer that resembles moonlight, hence the name "Moonlight Gourami." They have elongated fins and a peaceful demeanor, making them a great addition to a community aquarium. They also have a labyrinth organ, which allows them to breathe air directly from the surface of the water.

When introducing Moonlight Gouramis to an aquarium, it's important to provide a spacious tank with plenty of hiding places and vegetation. They are generally peaceful and can be housed with other peaceful fish, although males may become territorial during breeding.
