They are highly valued for their striking and unique coloration, which includes white or transparent bodies with black or red markings. Crystal shrimp are relatively small, and are generally kept in groups of 5 or more in a planted aquarium. They require a well-established and stable aquarium with specific water parameters, including soft, slightly acidic water with low levels of nitrates and phosphates.
