Serpae Tetra
The Serpae tetra, also known as the Hyphessobrycon eques, is a popular freshwater fish that is highly sought after by aquarists due to its striking appearance and peaceful temperament. Serpae tetras are schooling fish that should be kept in groups of at least six individuals in a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots. Serpae tetras are omnivores and will accept a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms.
