Directions Shake well before use and remove any carbon from your filter. Add one capful (5ml) per 10 gallons of water (0.05 ppm).
After 24 hours, perform a water change and re-treat. Repeat until treatment is successful. At the end of the treatment, perform a water change, replace the carbon in your filter, and add a dose of beneficial bacteria to your aquarium. If signs of stress appear, stop the treatment, perform a water change, and reintroduce the carbon to your filter.
Caution Malachite Green is toxic to some fish, such as invertebrates, fish fry, and scaleless fish. Dosages above 0.10 ppm can interfere with biological filtration. Dosage should never exceed 0.15 ppm, except as a short-term dip or bath. Do not increase the dosage on sensitive fish. Do not use on fish intended for consumption. It is best to treat fish in a separate hospital tank. Treatment can harm plants and good bacteria, stain silicone, or get absorbed by porous decor.
