Electric Yellow Lab Cichlids, also known as Yellow Lab Cichlids or simply Labs, are a popular species of freshwater fish native to Lake Malawi in Africa. They are named for their bright yellow coloration, which is more intense in males than females. These cichlids have a peaceful temperament and are relatively easy to care for, making them a great choice for beginner and experienced aquarists alike. 

Temperament: Semi-Aggressive

Care Level: Moderate

Max Size: Typically grow to be around 4 inches (10 cm) in length

Temperature: Water temperature betwen 75-82°F (24-28°C)

PH: Water pH between 7.5-8.6

Diet: Omnivorous, feeds on a variety of foods including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, krill, and bloodworms.
