Dwarf Honey Gourami
The Dwarf Honey Gourami, also known as Trichogaster chuna, is a small freshwater fish native to the slow-moving and heavily vegetated waters of South and Southeast Asia. They are popular among aquarists for their vibrant colors, peaceful temperament, and easy-to-care-for nature. Dwarf Honey Gouramis are named for their golden-yellow coloration, which is especially prominent in males during breeding. Females tend to be less colorful, with a more subdued yellow or pink color.
These fish have a maximum size of around 2 inches (5 cm) in length and are generally peaceful, making them a good choice for community aquariums with other non-aggressive fish.
