White Skirt Tetra
The White Skirt tetra, also known as the Gymnocorymbus bondi, is a peaceful freshwater fish that is popular among beginner aquarists. Native to South America, this tetra features a white and silver coloration with a distinctive triangular-shaped fin on its underside. White Skirt tetras are schooling fish that should be kept in groups of at least six individuals in a well-planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space. They are peaceful and can be kept with other peaceful fish, making them an excellent addition to a community aquarium. Regular water changes are essential to maintain good water quality and avoid sudden changes in water parameters.
