Aquarie Bio Boost contains true nitrifying bacteria (Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter), which allows fish to be added immediately to new tanks. It is also highly effective at controlling ammonia & nitrite.
Directions Shake well before use. For best results, use it in conjunction with Aquarie Bio Health. Slow down your filter flow and turn off all UV sterilizers, ozone generators, and protein skimmers for seven days to allow nitrifying bacteria to colonate the filter.
General Maintenance When adding fish to an existing tank, changing filter media, or after water changes, add 5ml per 10 gallons. New Aquarium Startup, Medicated Tanks, & Ammonia & Nitrite Spikes Add 30ml per 10 gallons initially. Followed by 10ml per 10 gallons daily until ammonia & nitrites read 0.
Add fish 12-24 hours before adding Aquarie Bio Boost for new tanks.
Caution Nitrifying bacteria require adequate aeration (6mg dissolved oxygen per 1L). Ensure water has been dechlorinated before adding nitrifying bacteria. Cycling time decreases at higher temperatures, cycle systems within 77° to 86°F. After cycling, cold water systems may be safely lowered over several days. If this is not possible, double the dosage. Keep pH between 7.8 to 8.5 (pH may drop while cycling). Freshwater & saltwater. Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek medical advice. Non-toxic.
