Silvertip Tetra
The Silvertip tetra, also known as the Hasemania nana, is a beautiful and peaceful freshwater fish that is highly sought after by aquarists. Native to South America, this tetra features a silver body with black markings on its dorsal fin, tail fin, and anal fin, giving it a unique and attractive appearance. Silvertip tetras are schooling fish that should be kept in groups of at least six individuals in a well-planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space. They are peaceful and can be kept with other peaceful fish, making them an excellent addition to a community aquarium. Silvertip tetras are omnivores and will accept a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms.
